How do you respond when someone asks you ‘What do you do?’
Do you struggle to share all the things that you love doing because you don’t know if it’s OK to string them together?
In a session at #WBECS Coaching.com , Rahaf Harfoush introduced herself as a multi-hyphenate.
A multi-hyphenate is someone who is energized by doing a lot of different things – has several professions, skills, and talents – with the freedom to do more, be more!
I started thinking about how I respond to the same question – ‘What do you do?’
It feels like a difficult question at first, because I know there is not a single answer to this question. I have always been someone with many interests, passions, and talents and became a multi-hyphenate in the process.
💫 A day in my life…. Business Owner, Facilitator, Coach, Speaker, Author, Courage Catalyst, Mentor, Mom, Daughter, Sister, Friend.
💫 Plus, I love contributing in Communities, traveling the world, staying fit, and learning new things daily. As you can see, the list is long😊
It’s inspiring to meet others who also feel that we don’t have to be just ‘one thing’. Our true value doesn’t typically reveal itself through a single job or role. It comes alive when we bring all our skills and experiences in a way that is unique and personal.
✨ I am curious how you respond to ‘What do you do?’
