This week feels like a fitting time to pause and reflect on this question.
How do you get the most out of coaching?
One of the reasons I love coaching is because it creates ripples that extend far beyond the session into our work, relationships, leadership, and lives. You have the ability to transform anything you have ever dared to dream!
That said, coaching isn’t magic.
Certain actions radically shape the results people create. One of the ways we step into this sacred partnership is by creating powerful agreements that are practical and grounded, not expectations.
Courageous, co-created agreements about how we want to show up, what we are committed to, and the future we are here to create.
Because coaching is a 200% relationship.
The coach brings 100%.
The client brings 100%.
And when there is radical commitment on both sides, extraordinary things become possible. So, if you want to supercharge your results, hire a world-class coach. And if you want extraordinary results, become a world-class client.
Perhaps the real magic begins when we stop asking: “How do I find the perfect coach?”
And start asking: “How do I become the kind of client who is truly ready to transform?”
What do you believe helps people get the most out of coaching?

I am a courage catalyst, executive coach, facilitator, speaker and founder of Interact Consulting.
